Every interaction I've had with Hasbrouck has been positive so far, more than 3 months into my rental experience. The staff are incredibly professional, respectful and responsive. In this era of social distancing, they have also been creative in finding ways to support my needs as a tenant while respecting my work-from-home schedule and the need for mask-wearing by staff and maintenance contractors. The support of the management company is key to the rental experience. I would be comfortable recommending them to renters as well as landlords who might be interested in listing a property.

I moved to Charlottesville from Massachusetts, but working with HasBrouck Management made the process easier and than I could have hoped. Our agent Vaida was helpful and responsive, provided a live video walkthrough of the apartment, and assisted us with insurance and utility setup. The apartment was clean and well maintained upon arrival and the move-in process was smooth and stress-free. HasBrouck's online portal also makes rent payments and maintenance requests very convenient.

My family and I lived in a Hasbrouck managed property in Minor Hill from 2015-2020 and they were fantastic--quickly responsive to maintenance requests and they were quick to get professional repairs/replacements done, when needed (e.g. dishwasher replacement, washing machine overflowed and soaked basement carpet--they got people to come dry everything the day I notified them). I absolutely recommend renting from them.

From applying to being approved, the HasBrouck Management team was pleasant and professional to work with. Weston Decker and Vaida Manzano were both extremely responsive and helpful in assisting in the application process and the move-in, respectively. Every question my partner and I had was promptly answered, and we were met with flexibility and good reception. When we needed the code for the Master Lock that was placed on our door, someone from the team emailed me said code despite it having been after hours. Their communication is impeccable and a mark of the strong teamwork within the Corporation. Aside from their service, the dwelling was handed over to us in great shape, too--much better than when we initially toured the property. We are happy we rented through HasBrouck.

I’ve lived at Turtle Creek since 2001. The maintenance staff have always been responsive and professional once they received the work order. I have recently had to make a few request and they were handled promptly. Of note one of their techs Cole has been sent. HasBrouck is very lucky to have him on their team and representing the company. He’s ALWAYS polite, respectful and very considerate of my home and any clean up he might need to do. He recently came and included my grandson in repairing a door handle. That’s going above his duties, but that small gesture made my grandsons day!

The Hasbrouck staff went above and beyond to find the perfect home for our family. Once we found the right place they had less than one week to turn the house over for us and when we walked in we couldn’t believe how clean and absolutely perfect it was. Buffy was so responsive and kind to all of our questions and we never felt we were asking too much. She made the entire start to finish seamless. The application process was so easy too. The owner of the home is fortunate to have these folks managing their property.
